Meet Shannon.

Shannon began her career as a public relations consultant working in Canada’s most prestigious PR agencies more than 15 years ago. Over the years, she has designed and implemented highly successful communication programs for many distinguished Canadian companies, in a variety of industry sectors. In 1999, Shannon took the leap and opened the doors of her own company, Comfy Chair Productions Inc., specializing in public relations, writing and film production – a blend of her professional expertise and creative passions.

As a producer, Shannon has credits in both independent film and television. At present, she is completing a project as Associate Producer on the fantasy/adventure feature film Shadowland, The Legend (to be released later this year).

Shannon is the author of The Whispering Heart: Your Inner Guide to Creativity – a practical guide to helping people unlock their creative power, turn dreams into reality and live with joy. She has also published short fiction and articles, and written screenplays.

Additionally, Shannon leads workshops on inspiration and creativity, and has taught marketing public relations at Ryerson University.

Shannon is a past founding Board Member of the not-for-profit organization Best Buddies Canada, and has volunteered her time for the Canadian Film Centre and the National Advertising Benevolent Society (NABS). She is a member of Women in Film and Television. Shannon lives in Toronto.
